More than half a million cannabis plants were discovered at farms in the Odessa region

ODESSA-KIEV. June 20. UNN. During carrying out operation “poppy-2017” on the sidelines of the Razdelnyansky region of detected area of about one and a half acres which has been planted with cannabis plants. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the press service of GUNP in the Odessa region.

Pot field found in the Poniatowski village Council. During the search were found and seized 558 thousand bushes of plants of the genus cannabis, samples are selected and are directed on expert research, the results of which will be made legal decision.

“On this fact the investigative Department of the Razdelnyansky police Department opened criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 310 (crops or cultivation of somnolent poppy or hemp) the Criminal code of Ukraine. The sanction of article prescribes punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of 3 to 7 years”, – stated in the message.
