Monument in Odessa region was in the Guinness Book of records

The monument to the shepherd, set in the tarutinsky district of Odessa region, brought in the Guinness Book of records as the highest in the world. This was reported in the ethnographic complex “frumusica-Nova”, reports UNIAN.

The height of the monument is 16 meters and 43 centimeters, and with a pedestal – 17,93 meters. The weight of the structure is 1080 tons.

On 17 November in the Guinness Book of records has registered a record “the highest monument to the shepherd”.

The sculpture is located on the territory of Europe’s largest sheep farm. Its owner belongs the idea of the monument. Made it the sculptor of Vinnytsia region Ivan Korolenko.
