Member of terrorist group convicted in Odessa for 13 years of imprisonment
Uncategorized August 1, 2017KIEV. August 1. UNN. A member of a terrorist group who manufactured explosive devices for sabotage in the South of Ukraine, was sentenced to 13 years imprisonment. This is reported by UNN with reference to press center of the security Service of Ukraine.
“The court of appeal of Odessa region sentenced the member of a terrorist group who manufactured explosive devices”, – stated in the message.
In July 2015, the SBU neutralized a terrorist group that was planning a series of attacks on important infrastructure of the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions. During the searches police seized explosive devices, accessories, more than 10 kg of explosives, detonators, metal balls, pictures of places where they planned the bombings, the symbolism of the so-called “new Russia” and so forth.
Along with other cyber criminals, the security officers have detained in Odessa a local resident, who was producing for terrorists improvised explosive devices. During the search law enforcers seized from the detainee parts for production of new improvised explosive devices. According to experts, they are identical to those used in the terrorist attacks on the Odessa railroad in April-June 2015.
The court found the bomber’s guilty under article 113 and part 1 of article 263 of the Criminal code of Ukraine. He was sentenced to a 13 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
As reported UNN, July 28, for the bombing of railway lines in Odessa region the man was sentenced to 13 years.
