Measles outbreak in Odessa region: was ill for 84 children

KIEV. 28 Jan. UNN. Over the past 3 days number of children suffering from measles, in Kiliya if it’s increased to 84. About this informed the head of Kiliysky OTG Pavel Boychenko correspondent of UNN.

According to him, 4 people live in Sochi, another ill child – from the village of Shevchenkove.

Consequently, the quarantine in the schools, which had planned to complete on 28 January was extended to February 6.

According to Pavel Boychenko, no dangerous cases no, only 3 children were hospitalized with the aim of reassurance.

The cause of the measles outbreak, the head of the Chilia if it’s called arrival to the village of Shevchenkove for Christmas families from the Kiev region, whose children were ill with measles, after which the infection spread quickly among the local children.

As reported UNN, all patients with measles children were not vaccinated because of religious beliefs of the parents.
