May 2 in Odessa: arrested ex-Deputy head Department gschs in Odessa

In Odessa employees of criminal investigation Department of national police during the RAID detained the former first Deputy of the Main Department of civil service on emergency situations in Odessa region Ruslan the Great. This was announced by first Deputy head of the national police Vyacheslav Abroskin in Facebook.

During the execution of their duties the Great took measures to the direction of the available forces and means to extinguish the fire in House of trade unions during the tragic events of may 2, 2014 in Odessa, where 42 people were killed and 125 people received injuries of varying severity.

The detainee 2016 shied away from the investigation and was wanted.

The court to it elected a measure of restraint – detention.

“By the way, his former “boss” Vladimir Bodelan hiding from law-enforcement bodies of Ukraine in the temporarily occupied Crimea, where he held the position of “head of Ministry of emergency situations”, – said the first Deputy head of national police.

Abroskin said that for 2017 the police operatives arrested four people suspected of committing crimes on 2 may 2014 in Odessa.

May 2, 2014 in Odessa, during the riots killed 48 people, 247 suffered. Clashes in the centre of the city was towards evening between participants of Pro-Ukrainian rally, the fans of FC “Chernomorets” and “Metalist” on the one hand, and supporters of the Pro-Maidan.

Several participants Pro-Ukrainian rally were killed by the bullets of supporters of antimiani. Later a few dozen people died from suffocation or injuries due to a fire in Odessa House of trade unions where took refuge the Pro-Russian demonstrators.
