In particular, it is reported that in Odessa region the ban on access to the sea of small boats has been operating since 1 December. The measure associated with the introduction of the regime of martial law and dictated by the high probability of provocations from the Russian Federation.
We will remind, earlier the mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov signed a decree on establishment of the Council of defense of the city for the duration of martial law.
It is noted that the Council of defence created with the goal of promoting the military command in the organization and implementation of the legal regime of martial law.
As you know, martial law is in force. The law says a presidential decree on the introduction of martial law for 30 days in Vinnytsia, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson regions and the internal waters of Ukraine the Azov-Kerch water area.
Earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, opening Monday forum “70 years of the universal Declaration of human rights: agenda for Ukraine”, noted that the military situation is a preventive measure for a period of 30 days, which has been introduced for the prevention of aggression and minimizing its consequences.
