Articles were signed as follows: “Fluffy” and “Crunchy” and “Ugly”. Special attention of visitors was attracted by duck of dark chocolate with the caption “Ugly”. Customers have accused the manufacturer of being racist.
Supermarket temporarily removed the product from sale and redesigned the package. Representatives from Waitrose apologized to customers: “We are very sorry that the product was a moving experience for visitors.”
Presumably, the manufacturer of chocolate set called candy based on the cartoon “the Ugly duckling”, directed by Disney Studio on the story by Hans Christian Anderson. The song from the cartoon was about the ugly duckling “short brown feathers”.
