Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian announced that a major European low-cost Irish airline Ryanair, Hungarian Wizz Air will operate flights from Odessa airport since the summer of 2019. He said this on air of one of TV channels, UNIAN reports.
“I think we will be able to welcome low-cost airlines Ryanair and Wizz Air in Odessa this summer,” said Omeljan.
He added that in Odessa will complete repair work at the airport.

The Minister also assured that will be made all necessary efforts to ensure that “in the middle of this year all work for the construction of a runway at the airport “Odessa” has been completed”.
“Realistic to the end of the year to put into operation a fully object – and runway, and new taxiways, which are necessary for the operation of the new terminal,” he said.
We will remind, the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine has stated that it plans to build a new airport in Mukachevo. This was announced by Minister Vladimir Omelian. According to him, the new airport will be the main in the region and will replace the airport “Uzhgorod”.
