Macarevich: Only force can stop the aggression of the Russian Federation

The current threat posed by Russia requires a strong response. This was stated by the Minister of national defence of Poland, Anthony Macierewicz in an interview with Polish radio.

“There is a saying that Russia was never as strong as speaks for itself, and was not as weak as would those who are watching her,” said Macierewicz.

According to him, the tension is increasing in the region since the Russian invasion of Georgia in 2008.

Macierewicz believes the world is increasingly convinced that “Moscow does not respect the norms of international law and, as a rule, applies a force to separate the territories.”

“Just the determination and the strength to stop the strengthening of the Russian aggression”, – said Macierewicz.

He added that, therefore, adopted at the NATO summit in Warsaw, the decision to strengthen the Alliance’s Eastern flank was very important.
