Lutsenko: Saakashvili seized the Rada Committee in hotel “Kiev”

While trying to arrest an opposition politician Mikhail Saakashvili in the camp, the “group of militants” took over the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada at the hotel “Kiev”. This was stated today by the Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko, responding in Parliament to a question of MP, what are the next steps of the GPU according to Saakashvili, the correspondent of LIGA.net.

Lutsenko reminded that the responsibility for the detention of Saakashvili lies with the operational units of the interior Ministry and SBU. “The goal is that this should be as soft situation in relation to other citizens of Ukraine”, – said Lutsenko.

“What will happen to Saakashvili – depends on it, because today the police came perfectly legal (in the tent city under the VR, ed.), to detain him and to deliver to the investigator. But he and a group of militants who surrounded him, captured the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, which is located on the territory of the hotel “Kiev”, broke down the door, threw out one employee, HUGO… and there are pleased to relax,” – said Lutsenko.

Lutsenko noted that this fact was criminal proceedings.

Earlier it was reportedthat the General Prosecutor’s office sent a suspicion of Saakashvili in his address. Opposition politician suspected of committing crimes under part 1 of article 15 of the criminal code (attempted crime), part 2 of article 28 (Commission of crime by group of persons in a preliminary conspiracy) and part 2 of article 256 (promotion of members of the criminal organizations and concealment of their criminal activity, committed by an official or repeated).
