Former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, left the negotiation process in Minsk and henceforth ceases to participate in the work of the TAG to resolve the situation in the Donbas.

At the same Zelensky did not mention the reasons that prompted Kuchma to leave office. The report notes that the head of state noted the progress made in Minsk over the past year, thanked Kuchma for his work and said he was ready to hear his advice in the future.
At the same time, Kuchma said that if necessary, ready to provide advice on peaceful solution to the conflict in the East of the country.
The journalists remind that earlier it became Kuchma to represent Ukraine in Minsk the previous President Petro Poroshenko. Subsequently he decided to leave his post, however, after the election of Vladimir Zelensky President returned to work in the pipeline.
Zakharov earlier ridiculed the Ukrainian President’s request to explain in details all the points of the Minsk agreements.
