The Prosecutor General of Russia Igor Krasnov, at a meeting with the staff of Prosecutor’s offices of the Crimea and Sevastopol, said that the fight against corruption remains one of the priority tasks of the Supervisory authorities.

“Among the main problems he has identified the provision of means of Prosecutor’s supervision of target and efficient spending of funds allocated for national projects, as well as the organization of corruption counteraction”, — reported the press service of the Prosecutor General of Russia.

In addition, among other important areas of work of agencies Krasnov called the rights of minors, orphans, invalids, veterans of the great Patriotic war and pensioners, as well as responding to citizens ‘ appeals.

Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin turned Krasnov in the new composition of the Council for countering corruption.

At the end of January Krasnov said about facing the Agency the task of maximal weakening of corruption due to the harsh response to such crimes and the creation of “an atmosphere of intolerance” towards them.
