Kharkov became a contender for the match of the 2018 world Cup Ukraine – Turkey

KIEV. 18 APR. UNN. Qualifying match for the 2018 world Cup football championship between the national teams of Ukraine and Turkey may take on the Kharkiv stadium “Metalist”. It is reported by UNN with reference to TV channels “Football 1/2”.

The President of the FFU Andrew Pavelko before personally inspected the football arena “Metalist”, which in a month will be the final match of Ukrainian Cup. Along the way, the UFF President met with Chairman of the Kharkiv regional state administration Yulia Svetlichnaya, which have discussed the future venue of the match Ukraine – Turkey.

“In a short period after returning to Kharkiv international matches we have seen here and the national team and Shakhtar. We discussed the proposal of Yulia Alexandrovna Svetlichny to the Executive Committee made a decision on the match Ukraine – Turkey, and I think it will be unanimous support”, – said A. Pavelko.

We will add that match selection of “blue-yellow” against Turkey to be held on 2 September.
