“In the period from 01.01.2017 on 31.07.2017 was 85 549 accident”, – the document says.
Among the main causes of these accidents – driving while intoxicated (3 341 cases), exceeding safe speed (15 616), violation of the rules of maneuvering (32 371), violation of rules of granting of free journey (1 563), leaving the lane of oncoming traffic (1 213), violation of the rules of the detour intersections (5 999), failure to comply with distance (19 249), failure to comply with the requirements of the control signal (956), overtaking violation of the rules (861), violation of the rules of journey of pedestrian crossings (525), violation of stopping and Parking of vehicles (784).
Most accidents in the first half of this year was in Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk regions. At the same time, the lowest number of accidents for the first half of 2017 was registered in Sumy, Luhansk, Kirovohrad, Ternopil and Rivne regions.
