16 January it became known that the governments of countries whose nationals died in the plane crash, demand from Tehran’s full admission of guilt and payment of compensation for relatives of victims of the crash. The foreign Ministers of Canada, UK, Afghanistan, Sweden, and Ukraine has demanded “an independent investigation followed a transparent and impartial judicial processes.” Subsequently, Ukraine rejected the Iranian offer of compensation of 80 thousand dollars for each victim, calling the payment inadequate.
