IPC continued its suspension of the Russian Paralympic Committee
Uncategorized December 21, 2017KIEV. 21 Dec. UNN. The international Paralympic Committee (IPC) today made an announcement about the continuation of the suspension of the Paralympic Committee of Russia, reports UNN citing the website of the IPC.
This decision was made on the basis of the failure of the Russian Paralympic Committee (RCC) the requirements in full extent necessary to restore the organization’s rights.
During a meeting of the Executive Committee of the IPC, it was also decided to keep in force Interim restrictive measures for the Russian athletes to participate in as a neutral athletes in the qualifying competition in four sports: Alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing and snowboarding.

“Since the publication of the second part of the report of McLaren, which appeared in December last year, released even more evidence that support and add weight to his conclusions. If the Russian authorities believe that the conclusions and evidence in the report, McLaren are not credible, they should provide appropriate evidence and explanations that refute it. While anything similar was not” – said the head of the IPC, Andrew Parsons.
It should be noted that the final decision on whether the Russian Paralympic Committee to participate in the Paralympic winter games in Conchango-2018 will be made in the 26-28 January.
