In the mountains in the Transcarpathian region, the rescuers rescued the tourist, who fell from the icy slope and slid into a 300 – meter abyss. Reports a press about it-service gschs.

“On 9 January at 19:20 in quickly-a rescue service received a report that during the passage of the tourist route two tourists in the mountain valley Rogaska (the foot of Petros Rakhiv district), 29-the summer inhabitant of Kiev fell with an icy slope and slid into a 300 – meter abyss. As a result, the girl sustained a leg injury, lacerations of the hands and could not move independently”, – stated in the message.

Rescuers called her colleague who witnessed the incident. The man kept his head descended to the victim until the arrival of experts, was the victim.

At 00:50 on 10 January, the rescuers managed to reach the location of the tourists. The injured girl was immediately introduced painkillers and imposed the splint on the injured leg.

In the morning, avoiding the avalanche-prone areas, with a special stretcher, rescue workers began transporting the injured. Overcoming the distance of about 7 km, employees of gschs arrived to his vehicle and brought the victim in Rakhiv district hospital.
