The heads of the three main intelligence services of Russia has recently traveled to the US on the background of aggravation of tensions in Russian-American relations. Inform on it Radio Liberty.

January 30, Russia’s Ambassador to the U.S. confirmed that the consultation went to the US Director of foreign intelligence Service of Russia Sergey Naryshkin who is under sanctions.

The Washington Post reported that last week the US came two other officials – the Director of the Federal security service of the Russian Federation Alexander Bortnikov and heads of the Main intelligence Directorate of the General staff of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation Igor Korobov.

It is known that Bortnikov was found with CIA Director Mike Pompeo.

In an interview with echo of Moscow the American Ambassador John Huntsman reported that Pompeo had indeed had meetings with the heads of Russian intelligence services, but did not specify any details.

“I want to assure you that any interaction with foreign intelligence services would be conducted in accordance with U.S. law and in consultation with relevant departments and agencies”, – reported in the CIA.

29 Jan Pompeo in an interview with BBC said that the American and Russian authorities cooperated, but Russia remains the enemy.

Former intelligence officers noted the fact that the US arrived at once three Russian officials. The former head of the CIA mission in Moscow Steven Gall said that this was not in the last 15 years.
