In the UN security Council submitted a draft resolution on status of Jerusalem

KIEV. 17 Dec. UNN. In the UN security Council, Egypt submitted to the vote draft resolution condemning the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, reports UNN with reference to Deutsche Welle.

“To the vote of the UN Security Council the draft resolution that expresses “deep disappointment the recent decision on the status of Jerusalem”,” — said in the message.

Noted that the resolution does not mention specific state and officials. However, the document is obviously a response to the announcement by US President Donald trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move Embassy of the United States. The draft was introduced by Egypt.

According to him, the resolution will contain a clause stating that any decisions that hint at changing the status of Jerusalem have no legal force and should be abolished.

The vote of the UN security Council on this resolution will take place, probably on December 18th.

As reported UNN, under the Embassy of the United States December 15, staged a rally of trump on Jerusalem.
