According to officials, the Department’s staff appealed to the State environmental Inspectorate of the Crimean-black sea region with the corresponding statement. Also prepared the appeal to this inspection to establish the source of the spill – oil dumping. As expected, the source – some ship or nearby enterprise.

As noted by Denisov, yesterday was sampled seawater and at present, ecologists do appropriate tests.
The specialist noted that the detected spot is large – around a few beaches. Initially, the discharge was into the sea, and then oil washed up on the beach to the shore.
There is also the risk that the spot will reach the city’s beaches. Therefore, the municipality will appeal to the Odessa sea port with the request to assist in the neutralization of relief with the help of special equipment.
