In the SBU denied the statement of the HRW on torture

The SBU denied the application of the International Human rights organization Human Rights Watch that intelligence officers allegedly illegally within two days was held and tortured a woman suspected of treason. Press Secretary of the SBU Alena Gitlyanskaya in comments to Radio Liberty said that the accusations “have no grounds”.

In a statement on the official website of HRW stated that the security service on 15 August allegedly arbitrarily detained a citizen of Ukraine Daria Masticates, 29, and charged with treason and illegal possession of weapons. The court in the river have arrested a woman until 16 October.
