The Soviet district court of Orsk rendered a verdict in the case of the death of a seven year old boy in the hospital, according RIA56 with reference to the press service of the regional transport Prosecutor’s office.

According to investigators, in June 2017 at the Nodal hospital in the station Orsk in the absence of the license for activity implementation according to the profile of “children’s surgery” the surgery was performed, in which the child fell into a coma and died.
It is noted that the acting head physician of medical institution and head of the surgical Department was sentenced to two years of imprisonment conditionally with a trial period of one year.
Anesthesiologist-resuscitator has appointed punishment in the form of restriction of liberty for 1.5 years, with disqualification to engage in medical activities.
The court also granted the petition of the boy’s parents about compensation of moral harm in the amount of 1 million rubles.
