In the Odessa region from illegal circulation is withdrawn more than 5 tons of alcohol

KIEV. 27 Oct. UNN. Law enforcement officers of Odessa region confiscated 5.5 tons of alcohol and vodka products for 1,4 million hryvnias. About it reports Department of communications of the state border service of Ukraine, reports UNN.

So, field investigators of the state border service together with representatives of GFS in Odessa region and police under the procedural management of Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region carried out searches in a storage room in a private house in Troitskoye village in Belyaevsky district.

On-site storage areas were discovered 5520 liters of alcohol, and in the private rented building – underground shop on manufacture of counterfeit alcohol. The room was more than 1134 liters of vodka products (2268 of bottles of 0.5 liters each), 7950 excise tax stamps of Ukrainian origin, the label says “Wheat.”

Counterfeit goods and the equipment for manufacturing finished products seized by the officers of GFS in Odessa region. The provisional amount of assessment is more than UAH 1,4 million.

Hold further events for establishment of persons, involved in the above illegal activities.

Investigations are continuing.

Recall, for three years the legal vodka production dropped by half.

Meanwhile, for the right to sell the “left” of vodka informals pay the authority $ 1 per liter.
