On the South of the Odessa region had measles 119 Protestants who attended the same house of worship. In this 116 patients are children, said on Thursday, February 14, the Duma.

The prayer house is located in the village of Shevchenkove, Kiliya district, but cases of measles observed in members of the same religious group in the village Nerushai tatarbunar district, the village Kotovka Belyaevsky district, and in Izmail. They all visited a prayer house in Shevchenkove and communicate with patients.
By the way, all the sick were not vaccinated because of religious beliefs.

It is noted that last week in Odessa region the incidence of measles rose by 15.4%, among children – 24%. Hospitalization rates have remained at the same level.
As previously reported by the Focus:
- The Ministry of health of Ukraine has decided not to declare the country an epidemic of measles, despite the growing number of cases.
- The acting head of the Ministry of health Suprun warned that measles outbreaks threaten the army and the security forces.
- For all of last year with measles are sick more than 52 thousand people.
- For the first month of the current year, Ukraine registered 15 095 cases of measles.
