Today, the community of the village of Sarata, Odessa region made the decision on transition of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate in Odessa diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

It is noted that on 26 January participated in the voting for the transfer of the Holy protection of the community in a United Orthodox Church of Ukraine was attended by over 500 people.
“Near the temple in the local house of culture gathered more than five hundred people… After the speech of the rector, father Vladislav, all participants unanimously adopted the decision on transition”, – stated in the message.
As reported, on January 20 the congregation of St. Demetrius Puzhaikove the village of Balta district of Odessa region was the first to announce the transition of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. According to the press-Secretary of the Odessa-Balta eparchy father Theodor Orobets, for this decision voted more than 300 parishioners.
