In the Odessa prison found the body of the prisoner with traces of violence

Yesterday, July 19, in the Odessa SIZO was found the body of 40-year-old prisoner with signs of violent death. The Prosecutor’s office has opened proceedings. Reports a press about it-service of Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region.

The criminal proceedings initiated under part 2 of article 367 (office negligence which has entailed heavy consequences) the criminal code.

The investigators will check the legality of execution of official duties by employees of the jail, said the press service.

It is also noted that the employees of Malinovsky of the police Department began criminal proceedings under part 1 St. 115 (premeditated murder) of the criminal code.

In April 2017 in Lukyanovka jail in Kiev for a week died four detainees.
