In the Odessa city hall is searched

Investigators of the General Prosecutor and the security Service of Ukraine 5 Oct conduct searches in office offices of employees of Department of municipal property of the Odessa city Council. About it reports UKRINFORM with reference to a source in the regional Prosecutor’s office.

“As far as we know, seized documents relating to the renting and sale of municipal property”, – noted in Prosecutor’s office.

However, no details in the Agency were not provided, citing the fact that employees of regional Prosecutor’s office is not involved in the investigation of this criminal proceedings.

As has informed a source in law enforcement bodies, searches are connected with the investigation of former Vice-mayor of Odessa Vyacheslav Chandrika. Security forces conduct searches not only in the offices of heads of Department of municipal property, but also in their homes.

Earlier, on 1 October, the General Prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko saidthat next week, prosecutors will hand over the suspect to the officials of the Odessa Executive Committee for the fire at camp Victoria, which killed three children.
