In the military unit of national guard may not let the priests of the UOC-MP

On the territory of military units of national guard may not be admitted priests of religious organizations whose centers are located on the territory of the aggressor country. This reports the press service of the NSU.

It noted that the President approved the regulations on military clergymen (chaplaincy service) in the National guard of Ukraine, “but NOT FORBIDDEN, as is served in some media, the activity of the priests of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate”.

“As for the “ban”, which is written in the media is talking about the fact that the territory of the military unit may not be admitted priests of those religious organizations which are in the territory of the aggressor country”, – stated in the message.

Thus in a press-service of the NSU noted that no single legal act that restricts the servicemen of the national guard under the freedom of ideology and religion.
