“As of 15:00 on the highway Kyiv-Odessa between the White Church and the town of Zhashkov of Cherkasy region continue activities on the elimination of traffic jams with a total length of 18.5 km, formed as a result of icing of the roadway”, — stated in the message.

As noted, with the aim of clearing from ice of the specified road section and the final release of trucks, which remained on the sidelines, restricted entry of vehicles from the White Church towards Odessa and on the part of Zhashkiv in the direction of Kiev. The problematic section of road is divided into 5 operational sites that have the posts to control the movement of 4 mobile rapid response teams provide to drive.

Pass of vehicles is carried out in small groups in reverse mode the cars are towed alternately to 19 tractors (gschs — 13) released 703 (per day — 107) cars.

Just to eliminate the congestion involved 43 vehicles and 94 persons.
