In the center of Odessa yesterday, on September 12, collapsed wall of the building that also houses the city hall Finance Department. It is reported by the Duma.

Eyewitnesses reported that no one was hurt.

“Apparently, the cause of the collapse began work on the demolition of the ruins of a neighbouring building (No. 23 on Pushkin, – ed.), burned 10 years ago. They are led by the construction company “Profi Bud K”, which entered into the “investment agreement” South Ukrainian pedagogical University named after Ushinsky”, – stated in the message.

The residents of the house reported that he heard a thud, and then saw the falling part of the arch and the wall.

“The dismantling has been underway for a few weeks, and just before the collapse, there is also worked with heavy equipment,” said local resident Alexander.

Now the passage into the courtyard dismantled. I worked at a place for gas service which has disconnected the house from gas.
