Investigators opened a criminal case against the Director of the Bolshoi puppet theatre, Saint-Petersburg according to the article “Receiving a bribe”, reports kp.ru with reference to the press service of SU of SK of Russia around the city.

According to reports, in December 2018, the Director of the theatre signed a contract with a commercial structure for the delivery of scenery, props, props, costumes and puppets to one of the performances. The amount of the contract amounted to almost 2.2 million.
After the payment, the merchant gave to the Director of theatre no less than 1.2 million. Against the head of the commercial structure the case was initiated under article “bribery”.
