In Saudi Arabia, tortured and executed guy in a WhatsApp message

KIEV. April 29. UNN. Abdulkarim al-Khawaja, who was 21, was beheaded before the crowd after he was accused of “terrorism” because he sent a message about the protest when he was only 16 years old. It is reported by UNN with reference to the Daily Star.
As notes the edition, al-Khawaja was Muslim Shiite group that is often called heretics and persecuted in Saudi Arabia is dominated by Sunni (Sunni Islam is the state religion of the country – ed), and, according to the publication, was tortured with electric cables and forced the boy to confess.
Other executed, Munir al-Adam, was only 23 years old when he was arrested in 2012 and, reportedly, his legs were so badly beaten that he had a few days to crawl on hands and knees.
Human rights charity Reprieve reports that the official press Agency of the regime announced 37 deaths last week, April 23.
Most of them were convicted in a special criminal court (SCC), a secret anti-terrorist Tribunal of the Kingdom, and it is argued that at least three of those executed were minors at the time of their alleged crimes.
Under international law it is illegal to apply the death penalty to people who commit crimes when they are under 18.

“Today’s mass executions is a terrible demonstration of the cruel neglect of the authorities in Saudi Arabia to human life,” said Lynn Maalouf, Director of research Middle East at Amnesty International.
London-based Amnesty said that the 11 victims of the regime, was convicted of spying for the main enemy of the Kingdom, the Shiite-Muslim Iran. The verdict was the death penalty in 2016.
“This is another terrible sign, depicting how the death penalty used as a political tool to suppress dissent within the Shiite minority of the country,” she added.

The other victim or the murder was Mugabe al-Sicat, who was only 17 years old when he was arrested for participating in anti-government protest.
“The teenager was planning to start a new life in the United States, studying English and Finance from Western Michigan University. But he was severely beaten, including beaten on the soles of his feet, before he “confessed” to crimes against the state, that the organization for the protection of human rights called torture and “sham court”, – is spoken in the publication.
Mugabe was also beheaded this week, despite the protests of the University and the insistence that he as a student was given “great expectations”.
Deputy General Director of Reprieve’s Harriet McCulloch said, “Many things can be used for justification of the death penalty in Saudi Arabia (crown Prince) Mohammed bin Salman, including “disobedience to the king,” “the preparation of banners with anti-government slogans and incitement through social networks”.
