Elena Grigorieva has participated in public events, including a nationalist orientation.
As human rights activist Dinar Idrisov, Grigoryev supported the democratic, anti-war and LGBT movements.

According to him, the last time Elena was the victim of violence and she often received death threats.
“Whether these attacks, threats and now murder is connected with her political views, which ranged from nationalist to right-wing liberal and LGBT, with its undoubtedly an active lifestyle, character and style of behavior – it does not matter. Each person has the right to life. And the Russian government was obliged to her right to life be guaranteed. Elena and her lawyer appealed to the law enforcement bodies on the fact of violence, and in fact threats, but significant response was not.
