In Odessa the SBU stopped the purchase of Russian equipment

Employees of the security Service of Ukraine stopped in Odessa, the purchase of Russian equipment by the utility in the amount of more than seven million hryvnias during the bidding. About it reports press-the SBU center.

Law enforcement authorities established that one of the municipal enterprises of Odessa announced a tender to purchase equipment for their own needs. During verification of the tender documentation, intelligence officers found that the conditions of the tender “issued” under the Russian production.

Officials have established such requirements, despite the decision of the National Committee for industrial development of Ukraine for mandatory and absolute advantages to domestic producers during any competition to promote the products of state enterprises.

“According to experts of specialized public research Institute, the Russian producer’s products much lower in quality than domestic counterparts and does not meet current technical requirements. On SBU materials the tender Committee cancelled the purchase of Russian equipment,” – said the press center.

The new requirements of the procurement provide for the participation of exclusively domestic producers.

On 21 August, the security Service officers jointly with prosecutors blocked the channel of deliveries from Russia to Ukraine low-quality components for prosthetics, including members of the antiterrorist operation.
