In Odessa the management of condominiums demanded 5 thousand dollars for the building connection to the communications

KIEV. July 6. UNN. The Odessa law enforcement authorities detained the Chairman and member of the Board of the condominium for extortion of a bribe of $ 5,000 to connect the house to electricity and water. About it UNN reported in a press-service of the Channel.

Militiamen found out that the Chairman of the condominium and a member of its Board demanded $ 5,000 for the issuance of documents for the connection of the house in the Primorsky district of the city to the electricity and water supply.

Today, July 6, during receiving a bribe the law enforcers detained extortioners.

Currently under investigations.

Criminal proceedings opened under part 4 of article 368-3 (bribery of officials) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. The sanction of article prescribes punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of three to seven years.

As reported UNN, on extortion of a bribe in 150 thousand dollars officials detained “ME”.
