As reported the UNIAN in a press-service of the court, on 10 April considered the petition for application of a preventive measure in form of detention in respect of an employee of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi local Prosecutor’s office in Odessa region. The man charged with several articles of the Criminal code. In particular, part 3 of article 190 (fraud), part 4 of article 27 (“conspirator in crime”), part 2 of article 15 (“attempt at a crime”) and CH .3. 368 (“bribe”).

As found by the court, the suspect demanded from defendants in criminal proceedings opened on the fact of assigning apartments, a $10 thousand bribe the Prosecutor promised to solve a question on possibility of change of a measure of restraint from detention to house arrest.

“The judge decided against the Prosecutor to apply a measure of restraint in form of detention for 60 days with the right of Deposit in the amount of 1 million UAH”, – said in court.

Also decided to dismiss the Prosecutor from office for two months.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on 7 April in Odessa detained the employee of Belgorod-Dniester Prosecutor’s office when receiving a bribe in 10 thousand dollars.

According to the Prosecutor of the Odessa region Oleg Zhuchenko, prosecutors exposed in the course of investigations of organized crime groups, assigns the apartments of citizens.

As noted Zhuchenko, prosecutors “helped” to solve the issue of the return of the seized funds and to change the measure of restraint to the leader of the gang.
