In Odessa region on suspicion in bribery detained the head of the RGA

In Odessa region militiamen detained on suspicion in bribery the head of the Kiliya district state administration and his alleged accomplice – the chief specialist. About it reports a press-service of regional Prosecutor’s office.

“It is established that the person demanded over $2 million of improper benefits from a person for the renewal of the lease of the land plot of 2 hectares. an employee of the state authority reported that all actions and the amount she agreed with the head of the RGA,” the statement reads.

At the time of the alleged transfer of the second tranche of $1.3 thousand prosecutors and police detained a technician who, according to law enforcement authorities, had the function of a mediator. The Chairman of the RGA in the study allegedly found and seized $500 previously agreed amount.

Currently, the two officials detained. On this fact openly criminal proceedings under part 3 St. 368 criminal code (extortion and obtaining illegal benefit).
