In Odessa opened a regional office Advisory mission of the European Union in Ukraine (CMEs). It is reported in Facebook the press service of the EU delegation in Ukraine.
“The Advisory mission of the EU was created to assist in the reform process. With the opening of the third regional offices of the mission and extension of our support for Odessa, we reaffirm our commitment to this process”, – said the commander of the civil operations mission of the joint policy of security and defence of the EU, Kenneth Deane.
This is the third unit CMEs, which began its work in the regions since the founding of the mission in 2014. The other two offices are in Lviv and Kharkiv in 2016. The main office of CMEs is located in Kiev.

CMEs provides support to the state bodies of Ukraine in reforming its civilian security sector through strategic advice and practical assistance. CMEs cooperates with the offices of the Ministry of justice and Ministry of internal Affairs: Nicolicea, state border service, the courts and bodies of Prosecutor’s office and security Service of Ukraine.
