In Odessa Church of the Moscow Patriarchate canceled the procession

The procession, which was planned to take place in Odessa of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate on may 9 has been canceled. The reason for the cancellation of the event, the clergy associated with possible provocations.

The abolition of the procession was announced by the head of the missionary Department of the Odessa eparchy of the UOC-MP Oleg mokryak on his page in Facebook, transfers “Диалог.UA”.

He noted that the diocese was warned about possible provocations and advised to cancel the procession. Mokryak added that in all the churches that belong to the Odessa diocese, the day will be held memorial services for fallen soldiers.

We would add that the diocese had planned to hold a four-day religious procession on the Belt of Glory of the hero city

Odessa.

We will remind, earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko gave the order on the preparations for the festivities, which should take place on 8 and 9 may.
