Initially, the meeting with Deneuve planned elsewhere (in one of the cinemas of the city), but at the last moment because of the huge numbers wanting to see the “star”, the event was moved to the above theatre, where it is about 1.5 thousand people.

The audience met the actress a standing ovation and long applause.

She talked about her career, some aspects of his personal life, shared her views on the creative aspects of the profession.

“When I was offered a part in a new film, first and foremost, pay attention to the story, the plot. And if I like it in the picture even agree to a secondary role,” said Deneuve.

She noted that she had a normal childhood besides her family has raised three children and so mother had to work.

The actress stressed that she really liked Odessa, in particular, the atmosphere, lots of trees, architecture. The city she described in three words: “Light, joy, beauty”.

When asked to evaluate what is happening between Russia and Ukraine, she said that she knew that Odessa is Ukraine.

“I’m glad are now in Ukraine”, – said the actress.

In addition, she shared with the audience his passion for work “in the garden”, adding he heard a lot about the quality of Ukrainian tomato.
