This was reported by the press center of command of naval forces of VS of Ukraine.

It is noted that on 1 April the two ships from the 2-second permanent naval group of NATO (SNMG2) will drop in Odessa sea port.

“Frigate Royal canadian Navy “Toronto”, and the frigate of the Spanish Navy Santa Maria will arrive to Odessa after patrolling in the Black sea together with other ships in the 2nd permanent naval group of NATO in a few days”, – reported in the press center.

It is planned that during the stay in Odessa, the captains will meet with the military, the armed forces and representatives of the local authorities will work with the servicemen of the Ukrainian Navy, as well as to receive visitors on Board the ships during open visitation hours.

Also the frigates will participate in exercise “PASSEX” in cooperation with the ships of the Ukrainian Navy in the Black sea with the aim of improving compatibility with the ships of the Alliance and partner States.
