In Odessa, a passer-by was stabbed in the stomach

KIEV. March 19. UNN. In Odessa, a man was stabbed in the stomach by a passer-by who tried to resolve the conflict. It is reported by UNN with reference to the GUNP in Odessa region.

So, incident happened on Landing Boulevard in Odessa.

“24-the summer inhabitant of Odessa heard between his familiar and the unknown, a quarrel arose. Seeing that the conflict does not subside, the victim decided to help men come to an agreement. Only the young man approached, the attacker pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the stomach, and then left,” commented the police.

The victim was hospitalized with a penetrating wound of the stomach and liver. Physicians estimate its condition as heavy.

During carrying out quickly-search actions militiamen identified the personality of the malefactor and detained him.

“To explain the actions previously convicted 36-year-old man refused. To the detainee it is reported about suspicion of committing a crime under part 1 of article 121 (deliberate heavy injury) Criminal code of Ukraine. For the crime he faces a sentence of deprivation of liberty for a term of five to eight years. The consequence proceeds”, – is spoken in the message.
