In Odessa, a man was sentenced for anti-repost in social networks

In Odessa, a man was sentenced for anti-repost in the social network Vkontakte. Sentence of the Kiev district court of Odessa in the end of January, according to UNIAN.

The man was sentenced to three years of imprisonment without confiscation of property, suspension of sentence for the year, which will be a trial period.

The court found that the convicted person deliberately distributing recordings with calls to action to change the state border of Ukraine.

The man did repost on a public Bulletin Board they created in the social network, in August, July and September 2017.He also did repost with calls about the seizure in Ukraine of the government.

He was found guilty of committing crimes under part 2 of article 109 (actions aimed at violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power) and part 1 of article 110 (encroachment on territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) of the criminal code of Ukraine.
