KIEV. 19 Aug. UNN. In the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” has responded to reports in Russian media about the debt of the Ukrainian side to Gazprom in the amount of 3.7 billion dollars. It is reported by UNN citing the press-service NAK “Naftogaz Ukraine”.

“The Russian megaphones spreading information like Ukraine’s debt to Russia amounts to $ 3.7 billion. But we demand from Russia to 5.2 billion dollars in compensation for the seized assets in Crimea. Which is more than the total debt of Georgia, Moldova and Armenia to Russia”, — stated in the message.

In “Naftogaz” added that: “the arbitral Tribunal hears cases in several stages. The first explores the question of competence. The second stage is Russia really should be the defendant, and finally moved to the final stage — the definition of compensation. Ask the Court to order Russia to pay 5.2 billion (dollars)”.

The company also explained that Russia will pay not only the Ukrainian side.

  • The Hague arbitration was supported by PrivatBank in the lawsuit against Russia for the lost due to the annexation of the Crimea estate. The Bank wants to get a refund of more than $ 1 billion.
  • International arbitration adopted the decision on collecting from Russia to Sberbank of 1.3 billion.

“Also, Russia seized the assets of many small companies that will probably demand compensation of losses”, — added the press service.

As reported UNN, “Naftogaz” expects the decision of the national Commission for the abolition of fines recipients of gas for PSO
