In Lviv on the street poured pounds of mercury

KIEV. March 30. UNN. On the street near the landfills collected pounds of mercury. About it reported in a press-service gschs in Lviv region, reports UNN.

“On March 29 at 7:38 in Service of rescue “101” it was reported that in Lviv on the street Glebova, near waste dumps in an open area discovered spilled mercury. To place a call immediately left the office of radiation chemical and biological protection Detachment technical service GU gschs of Ukraine in Lviv region. Rescuers mechanically collected mercury in the amount of 1 kg on the area of 46 sq. m., individual cells, and treated the surface with a special solution”, – reported in gschs.

The collected mercury is further transferred to the management concerning emergency situations and civil protection of the Lviv city Council for storage and further disposal.

We will remind, in Kiev detained a group of persons trying to sell two liters of “red mercury” for a quarter of a million euros.
