In Lugansk region because of the work of militants condemned the police

Two Ukrainians in Luhansk region sentenced on charges of creating a terrorist organization: in Lisichansk 8 years has been a resident of Luhansk, who fought on the side of the insurgents, and in Severodonetsk to 3 years in prison sentenced a former police officer, informant of terrorists. The operatives of intelligence agencies have established that the inhabitant of Lugansk in 2014 joined the militants. He took an active part in combat actions against ATO forces, and was one of the leaders of the so-called “military commander” of the militants.

At the end of 2016, the staff of SBU detained terrorists while trying to penetrate into Ukrainian-controlled territory with the purpose of the reconnaissance-sabotage activities.

The court found the gunman guilty of committing crimes under part 1 St. 258-3 (Creation of terrorist group or organization) and article 263 (Illegal weapon handling, fighting supplies or explosives) the criminal code.

Also Severodonetsk city court sentenced to prison a former employee of one of divisions of management of national police of the Luhansk region, who worked for the militants.

Operatives of the intelligence services exposed the major of police, which transferred to terrorists information on the personnel and vehicles of the police, the checkpoints of ATO forces, as well as official documents marked “secret.”

The court found the detainee guilty of a crime under part 1 article 258-3 of the criminal code, and sentenced to three years and three months imprisonment.
