Monday, April 8, around 3:35 a.m. in Osnovaniyam district of Kharkov on the street Valdai, unknown assailants blew up a cash machine and seized in it money.

About it reported in Department of communications Department of National police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region.

According to law enforcement, the scene worked investigative team of district police, workers of explosion-technical management of the regional GUNP. During the inspection, the experts found that the inside of the ATM was an explosion of an improvised explosive device in the form of a charge of explosive that is combined with a fuse. The device was detonated remotely using a Bicycle cable.

Material evidences are withdrawn and directed on expert research.

These facts included in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under part 5 of article 185 (“Theft”) Criminal code of Ukraine. The sanction of this article provides imprisonment for the term from 7 till 12 years with confiscation of property. All the circumstances are established.

It should be noted that this is not the first case of blasting of ATMs in Kharkiv. So, in the night from 21 to 22 February, unknown assailants blew up the ATMs of UkrSibbank and PrivatBank, which is located on the Victory Avenue and the street Vrubel, respectively, and took the money.

We will remind that in April of 2018, a very similar incident happened near Kharkov — then two unknown men also undermined the ATM of PrivatBank and took him about 200 thousand UAH.
