In fact the renaming of streets in Odessa started production

ODESSA-KIEV. April 27. UNN. The Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region began criminal proceedings in connection with the adoption of the Odessa city Council’s decision to change the names of streets and lanes. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the press service of the Prosecutor of Odessa region.

So, in a decision seen signs of a criminal offense under part 2 of article 436-1 criminal code of Ukraine (production, distribution, Communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of the Communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes).

Now pre-judicial investigation is entrusted to SU GUNP in Odessa region.

Recall, April 26, Odessa city Council approved the list of Odessa streets renamed during the de-communization.

We are talking about the list of streets twice binosusume at the public hearings, but both times, the hearings were disrupted by activists. This list is sort of a response to the order of M. Saakashvili about the renaming of streets, signed in may 2016.
