In the Odessa region arrested a suspect in the rape and murder of a minor girl, was found today dead in an abandoned house in the village of Cossack of Belgorod-Dniester area.

As reported the UNIAN in a press-service of Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region, at the request of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi local Prosecutor’s office detained the suspect without the right to bail.

“Assigned to the necessary expertise to verify the fact of rape of the child”, – reported in Prosecutor’s office.

The General Directorate of national police in the region said that the suspect was a tenant of the family of the deceased, who lived with relatives in the village of Cossack.

“The attacker – a 28-year-old citizen of a neighboring state, who has repeatedly brought to criminal responsibility and yet are temporarily living with relatives girls. At first the man did not admit his guilt and tried to avoid responsibility. However, evidence collected by law enforcement, was convincing, and the attacker spoke,” said the police.

The suspect told that the day before they with the owners of the house drinking. All this time the child was at home.

“At night when everybody was asleep, the girl woke up and wanted to go to the toilet. Here he met her… According to the man that the victim did not resist, he first strangled her, and then carried to an abandoned house nearby and raped her. Leaving the girl naked on the floor, he went to bed”, – told the police.

The suspect is detained as article 208 criminal procedure code of Ukraine. It conducts urgent investigative actions. On the specified facts the criminal proceedings on h. 4 articles 152 (rape), 153 part 3 (violent satisfaction of sexual passion in the unnatural way) and 115 part 2, PP 2,9,10 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.

As reported the UNIAN, today in an abandoned house in one of villages of Belgorod-Dniester district of Odessa region found the murdered girl, born in 2009.

According to some, the detainee – a resident of Moldova who at home is wanted.
