Heather Nauert resigned as head of the press service of the state Department

The head of the press service of the Department of state Heather Nauert left his post and went to work in the Fulbright Program – an educational program founded in 1946 by U.S. Senator James William Fulbright. On Friday said the state Secretary Michael Pompeo on Twitter, reports UNN.

“On behalf of the United team of Department of state thank you Heather Nauert two years of perfect and incomparable work. You will be good to represent America, working in the Fulbright Program”, – he wrote.

We will remind, on December 7, 2018 US President Donald trump has nominated Heather Nauert for the post of U.S. representative to the UN. Prior to this position worked as the official representative of US state Department, and before that a reporter and anchor for Fox News Channel.

Later, Nauert withdrew his name from nomination for the post of U.S. permanent representative to the UN in mid-February for family reasons.

As reported UNN, the official representative of the Department of State Heather Nauert published on the official Twitter account of the words of condolence on behalf of the U.S. state Department and the appeal to the Ukrainian authorities to find those responsible for the attack on the counselor of the mayor of Kherson Catherine Gandzyuk, adding to the message tags #movchaniv and #hasanovic.
